Christopher Columbus’ merchant ship, the Santa
Maria or the Gallant Maria as it was popularly referred to set sail in 1492.
Bigger than the La Niña and La Pinta, this ship created history, and was bold
and fearless. Now, 520 years after its maiden voyage, Ulysse Nardin is out with
the Classico Limited Edition Santa Maria, an enameling and colourful watch set
in 18-carat rose or white gold. The dial face sports a deep blue frame with the
ship sailing.
Powered by the UN caliber 815 movement the watch comes with a 42-hour power
reserve and 50-meter water resistance. Limited to 30 units, the watch comes with
a 40mm Enamel cloisonné dial with a Santa Maria motif. The watch has been
finished with Bracelet Alligator strap.
